1. Swearing is generally fine unless directed towards another user in a way that could be considered offensive. By no means should you swear all the time though.

2. Use good spelling and grammar. It’s fine if you occasionally misspell a word or two, but please write comprehensibly.

3. Advertising is not allowed except for in your signature. Making a topic or post about a band or artist, however, is not considered advertising and almost always allowed.

4. Do not post nudity or links leading to pornographic, offensive, spammy, and/or harmful sites.

5. Do not try to minimod. Leave the moderation duties up to the site staff.



1. It is not required for any of your profile information to be filled out, although it is recommended that you do so, so long as you are comfortable with sharing details about yourself.

2. In listing your location, do not be too specific. It is recommended that you do not reveal what city you are from.



1. Do not have more than 5 outside links in your signature. This includes links that are affixed to pictures.

2. Signatures cannot be wider than 600 pixels and cannot be taller than 500 pixels. If you include spoilers in your signature, the height and width of your signature must still adhere to the height and width limitations even after the spoiler(s) has been revealed.

3. The total size of all the pictures in your signature must not exceed 500KB. This should not be a problem so long as you do not have any .bmp or large .gif images in your signature.



1. Do not spam. Spam can be anything that is considered disruptive, irrelevant, and/or annoying.

2. Never post multiple times in a row. There are occasionally exceptions to this rule. Should you feel the need to post again in a topic in which you were the last person to reply, simply edit your last post to include whatever you needed to add.

3. Do not include too many smileys in a post unless you are posting in a topic such as the Smiley Suggestion topic.

4. Elaborate in your replies. If you can, try to write at least one line of text in every post you make.

5. Stay on topic. If you want to include something that isn’t relevant to the topic at hand, you aren’t breaking the rules so long as you have a relevant response in your reply as well.

6. Be courteous and kind to other users, even if they do not treat you with the same respect.



1. Before deciding to make a new topic, be sure that there is not a similar topic already in existence.

2. Don’t make a topic too specific or too general. Think in terms of how well a discussion might stem from your topic post.

3. Always make sure that you include enough information in your topic's title post so that other users can actually understand what the topic is about.
